Joel D. Shambaugh, Esq.
Attorney Shambaugh grew up in Dublin, Ohio and engaged in a wide variety of athletic and academic pursuits, including competitive swimming and sailing. He attended the Ohio State University and law school at Case Western Reserve University. During his undergraduate education and in law school, Attorney Shambaugh was a strong advocate for the local Jewish community, of which he is a proud member. He served as the president of the Jewish Law Student Association, and is a member of Temple Anshe Hesed in Erie.
Prior to passing the bar and joining the Mizner Law Firm in the summer of 2024, Attorney Shambaugh gained a wide variety of experience through work at the Canton City Prosecutor’s office, Erie Insurance Legal Department, the Community Development Clinic at Case Western Reserve focusing on non-profit and transactional law, family law practice at a private firm, and volunteered with Legal Aid.
Attorney Shambaugh is excited to begin his legal profession in Erie, and is serving both transactional clients and those seeking justice for civil rights violations and personal injuries.
